UNI SLAC Youth opened a new chapter on 5th January 2016 at union of post telecommunication officers’ head office Colombo. That special moment was launched UNI SLAC Youth committee. Purpose of this event was “To join new blood to the UNI SLAC Youth for the better future”.

Specially Mr. Jayasri Priyalal, Director Finance Sector, Professionals & Managers Group Activities UNI Asia & Pacific, joint with this event that was a big opportunity for them. All the other affiliates union leaders and union nominees actively participated to success this event.  
Event commenced with the speech of the vice president. Introducing each other and speeches of the chair persons were there. New youth nominees nominated the names of sisters and brothers for the new positions by considering skills of them. With the acceptance of all the members new committee appointed as,
