UNI APRO P & L /APPU joint seminar was successfully held at Bangkok Thailand, on 2-4 November 2022. There are three participants from three postal unions of Sri Lanka, Sis. Manjarie Perera (NPTWU), Bro. Asanka Karunarathne (UPTO) and Bro. Roshan Piyadigama (SLPTSU) participated the event.

The youth postal union members from India, Nepal, Malaysia, Japan and Indonesia also participated this seminar. The seminar mainly discussed about E-commerce, volume of handling parcels in E-commerce, who are the competitors, challenges for the postal sector and the existing technical environment. Participants shared the issues in their countries and how to transform digital environment from present context without harming to employees and their employment.
